What are Maintenance Fees and how are these established?    

Maintenance Fees are the annual fees to be paid by every timeshare owner to help cover the cost of operation and to build a reserve account. Every year in September, an Annual General Meeting is held to vote on different items including the following year's Maintenance Fee amount previously established by the board together with the management team.

Are taxes included in the maintenance fee?

No. The occupancy tax and energy surcharge are not included in the Maintenance Fee. Therefore, these are charged only upon occupancy of the unit/week.
